I'm running Gnome now and I have just downloaded the compressed file for the themes. What do I do now?
I also ran into trouble installing google chrome saying permission is denied.
Make sure you are installing chrome with sudo. As for the themes, open up the tweak tool and install them through that. It will make your life much easier.
Navigate to your home (~) folder and create a directory called .themes if it's not there already (Ctrl + H to show hidden files). Drag the folder containing the theme into there. Now you just have to open up the Tweak Tool and change the GTK theme to Flat Studio Dark and you're done!
I'm able to solve my problem. Thanks. But now I ran into a new problem. I want to adjust the drop down terminal's font to complete white as currently it is gray and transparent. But I cant seem to find the preference for it.
You probably need to open the regular terminal. Go to edit -> profiles, and create or edit the default one.
Edit: I see it doesn't obey the built-in terminal styling
Here is the path to the extension:
/home/"username"/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]
If you know CSS, you might be able to adjust the font color
Solved that, it turns out I can just simply get the preference by just restarting my PC. Now I'm trying to change the font of my desktop icons, which are in black, rendering the icons impossible to read with dark theme.
Enable GTK Themes in chrome settings. Thats all you have to do
Also I have a theming gnome tutorial. Please use the search function before you ask a question. Read the banner as some of the questions are answered..

I don't quite know what's that. I don't have a problem with the icons, it's just the word colour. Like this.
If you want to enable GTK theming in chrome.. open google chrome and say use GTK theme and not system borders and title bars. Refer to my link for installing flat studio... Seriously its very straight forward and explained at my link
Alright, fixed. I found a new theme I like =D Thanks man, really start to love Linux. I still have to dual boot for programming of Java and C# though. But I can program HTML and CSS on Linux.
wow...such successs
ahem, sorry I couldn't resist.
You can use EclipseJDT and MONO on linux if you want to try.
I created a themes folder on ubuntu gnome 15.04 but its doesn't appear on the dropdown.
Never mind i figured it out
Can I get a link to the theme? I have no idea where to find it.
