How to hook up a disk shelf to a HP Proliant Dl360e server? *First server, I'm new, go easy lol*

Hey Gordon, so I noticed that in my Windows VM that the disk usage is almost at 100% all the time.
I noticed I don’t have a cache module in the server. Do you think this would resolve the issue?
If so, could you provide me one compatible with a HP Proliant Dl360e G8

In Linux, the most effective cache is provided by the kernel and uses system ram. How much ram do you have?

Some filesystems support caching too, a favorite feature on ZFS. What FS are you using?

Look up the “quick specs” PDF for your server, it will list all the add ons and extras that are compatible.

I have 32gb of ram soon to be 64gb of ram.
i’m unsure of what file system i am using.

I see 631922-B21 but that’s it,
I’m basically looking for an HP Proliant Dl360e G8 cache module, and I want to buy a battery separate and new. But can’t seem to find them separate/new

I don’t know. I have enterprise contacts that handle that sort of thing for me.

You can try contacting these guys, they might be able to look up the parts you need.
