How to do screen capture on android tablets?

I want to demo my company's app on android, and I was wondering what the best way to record my screen on a nexus 7 would be. Any ideas? thanks in advance.

Hit screen lock and volume down at the same time and hold. (On some devices its screen lock+volume up)

Sorry, I used the wrong term. I meant record the screen as a video.

Hello, luckily for you CyanogenMod has an app for that! You have to be rooted I think, but if you push it to system/app/ and install that way, then you will be able to use it. Here's a link to the apk: http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/Mirror.apk
