So I've got a modmic 4.0 and the onboard audio on my motherboard is crap. Right now I'm using the Schiit Audio Magni and Modi for my headphones, but I need something that will improve my mic input.
I would suggest trying to clean up your audio in Audacity first. Can you maybe post a sample of what kind of "cleaning up" your audio would need?
