How to check temps?

I just built my first pc and was wondering how to check the temps of everything?

HWMonitor if you're on Windows. Great software.

CoreTemp has a nice minimised taskbar display and works fine too. RealTemp doesn't work with a lot of AMD CPU's if I remember correctly. But definitely +1 on CPU-ID's HWMonitor, standard overclocker's tool, definitely recommended.
