A netflix IP you can look up their pool too
Its hard to test any kind of throughput however you can analyze jitter

Do you have a lot of buffer issues with Netflix?
Yeah despite a very fast connection
200/50 almost always running at that with a 16 ms ping <1 ms jitter speedtest.net
What’s your router? Maybe buffer bloat?
[x] doubt
pfsense box as firewall
Switch for wired computers (10 gbe)
Wireless is ASUS RT-AC68U (Running Advanced Tomato)
Computer tested on is wired (intel 10 gbe)
Do you have QOS configured in pfsense? That’s what will fix buffer bloat on your modem.
No everything is first in first out… No QoS I don’t like QoS
This is why I’m stumped
Does pfsense have a “smart” QOS mode or something that doesn’t require granular configuration? I would at least test it out to see if it improves your Netflix experience.
I’ll start googling. Idk if it will improve my issues. Primarily because there are not enough services to get in the way of Netflix traffic
Agreed!
