How To Add Aero Blur Back To Windows 8

So there's a lot of users that don't really like the looks of the new design in windows 8. Luckily, a guy with the user name "bigmuscle" from the BerliOS development group Introduced a way to bring it back. Here's how to do it.

If you really wan't those aero effects back, go here http://developer.berlios.de/project/show...p_id=13124 and download the latest file in the preview section. Unpack the files. Then, create a folder named MyDWM in the root of your main hard drive. Take the files you unpacked and move them there. Now in the files you just moved there, you should see a registry file with the name LoadGlass__AppInit_DLLs. Add this to your registry.

Then all you have to do is launch the application "DLL2DWMInjector" and your all set.

If you chose to use this program, be sure do create a restore file or something to back you up in case something goes wrong during the installation of the registry file. Though its not likely that this will happen.

Beware that this isn't a permanent modification and the aero effects will be turned off if the application if shut down. If you'd like, add this program to your startup list and your aero effects will appear every time you log in.

Keep in mind that this is only a beta preview so few bugs may be present.

I think you wouldn't want any transparency after installing this theme

I was never really bugged about the loss of that aero effect in windows. I just posted this for the people that really do want it back. However, I do like the looks of that theme so I'll give it a try.
