well first off watch your language, and secondly u probly did some deleting over the course of that month and that fragmented your hdd. I actually never defrag my primary drive with my current computer. but with my last computer i had it defrag every other day, also when u ran the defrag a month ago it may not have defragged it completely thats y when i defrag i usually do it multiple times in a row

a lot of used space, and you move lots of big files arround. just set windows to auto defrag once a week at like 1 am, and leave your pc on.

I defrag everyday, and I have 30 second boot with a Sata II baracuda

Fixed.

I usually leave my PC on sleep. I can't stand the LEDs flashing when I'm asleep. I'll still schedule it to auto defrag weekly though. Thanks!

i remeber my old pc, i defragged it for a whole day straight and cleaned up the hdd and it got a boot time of under 20 seconds, i was impressed by it

i never defrag, last time i did, i ended up having bsods.....

holy shit, i just dfreagged an external, and it took like 30 sec

i never defrag my current primary drive becuase its an ssd
