I have my Asus G50VT-X5 right? Nice 9800M, a 320 HDD and a 250, both 7200 RPM, max at 4 GB ram (though IF I can go higher I will), basically a nice machine. I actually need an OSX machine. Some of my work involves OSX pretty close. My other mac thread today is actually looking at some but I can also just buy a new battery, maybe, and have ok hardware.
So I have some options here. The machine over all is an editing machine. When I started my YT channel I was editing with this machine. A half hour video would take an hour or 45ish minutes to render 720p in kdenlive. I don't mind that personally. Past that I also game on it a bit.
So how should I do my drives? I can do OSX Niresh 10.9 on one and linux on the other I guess, or should I do OSX, then linux and windows on the other? OSX only? My over all goal is a system that WILL not change at all so KDL is stable. When I use KDL on linux its as unstable as unstable gets and it drives me nuts. If nothing else I will do one side OSX and the other side Netrunner.
Any input on a better solution is welcome :D Also if I can do like 6 GB ram or something let me know 3:
