Thx all. Having read all the arguments, you have convinced me to go with Linux for the home server and later the rest of my computers.
I use Emby for media but it comes for the big 8 distros.
I would go with Fedora, if it wasent for it has become a commercial distro too.
What to choose for the home server?
Its a 14400 with 32GB. Uses igpu for some transcoding.
Has 3 20TB drives, and SSD for the system etc, MSI 790 mobo & Intel E810-XXVDA2
Can invest in upgrades if some plays poorly with Linux.

It like ZFS in the future.
I need a few users with own shares & media shares.
I like KDE for desktop & I saw Rust remote desktop could also be. I remote in to admin the server.
See this thread:
What to choose? I am torn between Debian & openSUSE.
And warm welcome to @nhandt64 I do believe it is your first post here.
