Hi everyone,
I’m looking into starting soldering this summer with a few small projects (like a CMOY for example). Once I will have made 4-5 small projects like that, I’d like to build an O2 from parts and bying the ODAC board. My question is do you guys think I will have enough experience to follow a detailed build guide? What build guide do you suggest for the O2+ODAC?
Another question might be: If that is not enough experience, what other projects would you suggest I do before the O2? Any reference videos I should watch beside basic soldering lessons? Any website for parts good for the US?
Thank you in advance!

You'll be fine. Soldering isn't difficult to pickup, and the O2 isn't terribly complicated to put together. As far as parts, I usually use a mix of ebay and digikey. GLHF.

Do you know any good reference for building it step-by-step? I know MayflowerElectronics made videos but I guess I'm expecting something more precise (audio and explanations).
A quick search didn't turn up any videos, but here's a short walk through:

The directions should be fine though. Once you get the basics of soldering down, it's really just about putting the caps, fuses and whatnot in the correct places.

Thank you for taking the time to answer again, this guide seems detailed enough and should be enough. Thanks again!! :D
Just to add on top of WhiskeyRanger's answer, in case anyone else is looking for guidance.
I found this detailed build log for the O2+ODAC: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/headphone-systems/236962-building-o2-novices-build-experience.html
