Post your worst experiences with intel heatsinks (if you've had any) personally, i just fucking HATE push pins, the first two go in easy, the last two almost made me cry with anger. I installed one for a friend, two popped right out, i was afraid the board would snap.
I kinda... buried one next to.. my dead... crab....
Never had a bad intel heatsink problem ( cause i never had a intel cpu). But when i was installing the stock heatsink for an AMD phenom i was about to punch a hole in the wall. The one side of the Lever goes in fine, but the other side you need hulk strength to get that shit it.
now you know how us intel users feel everytime... (thats what she said)
they look ugly. and they dont cool very well.
never had a problem with an INTEL stock heatsink, but my dell's passive heatsink for the AMD sempron was a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE bitch to put back in.
I didnt even try it.
Sent it for free to a random forum user lol

LOL
i dont see what people complain about i have installed it many times the first 2 times were a bit hard but then after that its easy as pie becuase cake is a lie
people over exaggerate everything
I ripped the fan out of it. Tried to use, it, broke a fin, threw it away.
AMD ones are worse.

they look nicer, but the retension bracket shit is gay.
the new phenom II ones got heatpipes copper, so at least it cools better than intel heatsinks.
stock heatsinks suck.
I dont get why someone would buy an Intel processor and use the stock hs. I mean it costs like a whole 10 dollars more to get an better one.
I actually find AMD Heatsinks extremely fucking easy to put on.. and also of that copper heatpipe and base heatsink gives with the PII's I actually got that with my AMD X2 6000+ Dual core 3GHz and with my Phenom 9600
This is my face when I try to install the last corner of the heatsink
IT BENDS MY FUCKING MOTHERBOARD. FUCKING GOD DAMN.

I got AMD heatsink with retention bracket mouting and i like it, simple and works well
i remember mah' first amd heatsink... piece o' cake. no seriously, it was much easier than my intel heatsink now... my motherboard is also slightly curved >:(
i remember my first amd. it was a k2 in a laptop, left it on for 3 days straight and the processor literally melted to the board after a heat sync malfunction...Been running intels ever since, and never had a stock heat sync prob (had to upgrade once or twice, just cause)...running a core2duo T5800 now-a-day, gets me along allright.
Why would you use a STOCK heatsink in the first place. just get a Arctic Freezer 7 Pro. Easier installation and waaay better temps. for liike 24 bucks? hella good investment.
