I want to know just how many year it might take before it's value drops below 400 or 300 dollars and if it's worth it. I would appriciate it a lot, thank you.
P.S. Please tell me any improvements I can make.
a year from now I doubt you'll be able to get 300 out of it because everything will drop in price when the next gen stuff comes out.
a year from now it will still be able to play games almost as good as it did new.
Good. I'm not really planning on selling it if I do buy it but thanks for the information. I just need this to last me a couple years longer than the regular 2 year upgrade cycle.
I would get a 6 core for that money.
Could grab a cheaper Phenom quad-core? Either way, it is only "obsolete" when it doesn't give you the experience you want. It will last you longer than you might anticipate. Would probably only need a GPU refresh.
