So I'm sure this is a problem that many people have here. Phone/tablet storage is usually very limited, and you've got a lot of music. So how do you guys store it on your phone? Does all your music fit on the internal storage? Do you stream it? I'd be curious to know. Currently my music library is just over 10GB and it fits locally on my device just fine, but my collection is always growing and probably won't fit down the road.
MicroSD card. Will never buy a phone without one.
I don't store any music on my phone. I have my music on my server, and I access it from my phone.
I'm also a big fan of Spotify, because with a premium Spotify subscription, the bandwidth I use for music streaming doesn't count against the volume limit on mobile data, and because I really like the way Spotify remunerates artists: it's de facto a mutual insurance, I don't listen to much music on Spotify, but others do, but the monthly Spotify fee doesn't hurt me, but to pay for regular distribution of the music they need in their lives, students for instance would be limited in the amount of music they would have access to... in the end, it's a pretty economical insurance that artists will be able to feed themselves to make music, it's an insurance fee that we'll have music when we need it in our lives. I would so wish that artists themselves would come up with something like that, a "mutual music insurance", because art is important, art goes directly into your brain and does things, sets things right... imagine what the world would be like without art... we definitely need insurance against lack of art.
A few artists may like a word with you... Considering some believe Spotify to be highway robbery.
Lol yeah, I saw the article about Taylor Swift... that's just the thing with mutual insurances, those that want more than the others will first try to take from the little guys... that's just not a music-only problem, that's humanity at work... I would definitely like an insurance that can guarantee that we'll have more than Taylor Swift and rap music in the future though... and I also think musicians should organize this themselves and make a man-in-the-middle like Spotify redundant...
Well considering I don't listen to that much music (library consisting of 419 songs) I just store it on my internal memory. My Moto G doesnt have an SD card which I really dont care since it does have USB OTG support.
i use google music. or my SD card. haha.
Mine (about 11gigs) fits on my phone. But my next one will have to have an SD card slot.
SD Card. Though mostly now I just use pandora and stream via bluetooth in my car since most of my phone storage is dedicated to photos/video.
SD Card.
