How do you set up SLi?

I enabled SLi in the nvidia control panel and went to see the increase of fps in crysis but i was getting the same fps, went to try cod5 after just getting it today and i was getting 15fps... on teh beta i was getting 60+fps with one card. Can anyone help me or guide me on how to setup SLi properly, thanks

Well... in COD: Go to options and enable multi GPU.....

As for Crysis..... I dont know, what resolution are you playing at?

You won't notice a high increase if your cards are crappy.

Or if youre playing at really low resolutions.

I did enable multi gpu and im playing at 1680x1050 with 2 XFX 9600GT XXX Alpha Dog editions

IF you already put the bridge........ Then try to switch positions of the cards. (Just for the random fact that it might work)

Try out switching positions, and try one card at a time, and check if the clock settings is the same.

lol @ sli , but wah!!!1 never had a multi gpu rig before in fact ive never had anything more powerful than a 8800gt but sold that now stuck with a 8400gs :p until i save up enough money for my new rig.

With the help of Assass1nat0r we have found the problem, the second PCI-E slot is faulty, I am in contact with XFX on getting a replacement. Big thanks goes out to Assass1nat0r

I tried both cards in both pci-e slots and my first 9600gt wouldnt work in the second slot, it gave off a long high pitch beep
