How do you like it?

Was not entirely sure where to post this, but im am wondering if this is okay with you guys.. just to double check this doesnt break anything in my system. Alright so story is i am babying my newly built PC.. so when i see a slight bit of GPU drooping my OCD kicks into overdrive. (i am not sure how else too post this picture so i have to do it through my already made pcpartpicker completed build, sorry !!!) anyways here is it, it is the last two pics that you will see my DIY non-droop solution.

Pretty nice build! I got to say though your DIY solution made me think of this:

Looks good!

So the GPU droop kicks in your OCD but that wire running across your heat sink and that bit of plastic holding your GPU isn't?

that wire across my heat sink is necessary, other wise its dangling all over my motherboard. it is zip tied on either side of the heatsink by two black tires connected to the fans clamps, i find it much more attractive than sloppy cords. Therefore no, they do not trigger my "OCD" Also when it came to the zip ties holding my GPU i was much  more worried about sag than i was about some zipties holding it up. With the case i use (200r) it does not have a window, so i cannot see it. So to answer your question... No they do not.

Its interesting how some cards droop while others dont. My 560 drooped so much but while it was fine in my old system, My new mobo wouldn't recognize it without my own DIY solution. Yet my 780 Classified has next to no droop what so ever. And that card is MASSIVE and does not have a back plae.

Ya, my old 560 looked similar to a horseshoe =p i really like the  idea that cooler master has on the haf x i believe it is.. build onto the case is a sort of anti- droop guard... cool idea http://www.gnd-tech.com/images/upload/cooler_master_haf_x_038.jpg
