How do i uninstall Chrome now? (i've screwed something up :|

Hey guys, I've recently got BSOD on my windows 8 computer (it was BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO) and It may have system restored but I don't know because I clicked cancel and turned of my computer and when I turned it back on...it started working again, anyways, the moment I tried to open google chrome it had some error that I didn't remember because I didn't think I needed it and I thought I should delete chrome and reinstall it. So instead of going into uninstall a program, I just deleted the folder and that includes uninstalling files, but the worst thing is it has told me that it cant delete chrome as it is being used by something else...... so I cant move the chrome file and I cant re-download chrome because it wont let me. Can someone help me? im currently on internet explorer (please help me, I don't know how much longer I can take it :3

Restart the system and try deleting the folder again. (preferably without going into the folder first) If it still says that the files are being used, try doing the same in a safe mode boot.

Get a USB stick and copy the Chrome installer to it from another PC and install it that way. Then once it is installed head to where ever you uninstall programs from and remove it completely. If I understand correctly.
