How do i turn this thing on?(first build)

Hi comminity, 

    I just today finished getting parts for my first ever build! I just put it togeather(to the best of my abilities) and when i turn on the power, I get no output from the hdmi, on the graphics card. it apears everything is getting power, The graphics card lights up, the cpu fan and chassis fans and lights turn on. I dont know what i'm doing wrong but I hope you guys can help.

also to make it interesting. i dont have a cd drive

Make sure all the connections are secure, try different cables and make sure you're monitor is set for the right input

Lol, maybe power cable for the monitor.
