How do I run an Nvidia card for PhysX in an AMD system?

Hi Folks,

I'm using an MSI R9 290x and I have an old GTX260 lying around. Is it possible to use that as a dedicated PhysX card in my system? How does having 2 seperate drivers effect things?

I'd like to get some sweet PhysX in Borderlands 2 and other games without adding load to my CPU.

Any resources you recommend reading up on? Thanks in advance!

Nvidia disables PhysX processing on their GPUs if an AMD GPU is detected in the system. So you're better off leaving it to the CPU.

is it possible? yes, but you'll have to employ a driver hack and that you will have to ask someone else or search for. seems like alot of trouble.
