I was really terrified about these serious privacy issues. I was kind of aware of this before I upgraded to Windows 10. But the matter here is how do I stay anonymous and keep my data private. It's sounds really difficult how Wandell describes he does but if any Tek Syndicate crew can make some tutorials or can post individually in some forum thread I would be really obliged. Thanks to TEK SYNDICATE CREW - LOGAN AND WANDELL to bring out such a serious topic to public. I was really ignorant before but now I want to correct myself. Pardon me if i have spelled your names wrong.
You can throw away all your electronics, and go live as a hermit somewhere in the forest. (Just a possibility / Thought to plant in your head..)
If You're Running Windows 10. you can follow this tutorial.
OR You can forget everything you know about computers and learn Linux. as for Android. Wendell has a tutorial coming soon for Android for future reference.
Microsoft is porting many of the unwanted "features" over to 8.1. Not upgrading to Win10 won't save you the trouble of having to make your OS secure again.
Obviously its Linux and since I am a computer geek who knows how to do stuff I have tried UBUNTU GNOME, but I cant write drives of my own and because of that my overall experience was worst. Windows is not anywhere near Linux in terms of usability and system access, etc, etc... But still the issue remains same here, how do I get my drivers running properly ... believe me once the drivers run properly the I will just say FU** OFF to windows crap I am really pissed off with Microsoft. There's a limit to something and MS never understands that !!
Any suggestions/help to setup Linux and making drivers work properly ??
First of all the graphics driver -- GTX 770 2. Broadcom 802.11 WLAN Driver - wifi signal reception is worst and sometimes it wont even connect to the available SSID's 3. And Lastly the bluetooth driver, bluetooth doesnot work at all. Remaining things like INF and ME driver are handled well by ubuntu so i didn't face any problem there
Use browser plugins to disable scripts (noscript, umatrix, etc.) and cookies. Privacy badger and https everywhere from the EFF are good too.
Use unique email addresses for all your online accounts and use fake details as much as possible.
Essentially you want to make it difficult for people collecting 'anonymous' data from linking multiple sets of data to you and bring able to build a profile on you.
Do as much as you can yourself (don't rely on external services) like email, storage etc.
Use Linux like everyone says, even if you use it as a vm for everything other than gaming that's still better than nothing.
