How Do I Install Hyper 212 EVO?

I'm trying to insatall my coolermaster hyper 212 evo on my asus m5a99x evo r2.0 board but i am confused about how to install it properly. If you look to the right and left of the cpu socket on the motherboard there is two brackets that can be taken off. Am i meant to take them of or leave them on when install the hyper 212 evo on thia motherboard. I really appreciate some help

Those are most likely the brackets for your heatsinks and DIMM slots on the actual motherboard. Do not touch them.

But wait, how do I install the hyper 212 evo don't fit with the motherboard brackets. All the videos i have seen of people installing this heatsink do not have that bracket on their motherboard so am i meant to take it off?
