I have not yet got these speakers. But, I'm thinking of purchasing these: http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-MAC-MR5MK3-LIST .
I would like to know, how do I connect my PC (motherboard) to the speakers? What cable should I use? And, what cable do I use to connect the speakers together?
Thanks alot.
Not that I'd recommend the 90% of onboard audio solutions with these, but anyway. On the sound output area of your motherboard's IO - there will just be a stereo channel (left and right) it'll be 3.5mm (1/8 inch) out so you'l need to go from that to (ie the input of each speaker) either RCA or 6.5mm (1/4 inch). There are even 3.5mm stereo cables that go out to 2 RCA, 2x 1/4's. Avoid adapters as this is a gateway for electrical interference. Other option is going from each channel (left and right) to each speaker ~ 2 cables)
Below are some examples.
stereo to RCA or
stereo to 2x mono 6.5mm
Thanks for your help, what Sound Card would you recommend?
That is exactly what I use, only it is a mogami.
