Houdini and Nuke BenchMarks

They were not done with PBO, EXPO was the only special setting enabled in the BIOS.

Very good point with the graphs I will definitely include the resolution for the graphs in our video, thanks for the suggestion!

@L1Sean COOOOL! amazing, thank You! will monitoring Nuke bench! Hope You add Nuke benches too into video! also would be amazing add predecessors(from google tab what I has provided) just for compare, but also I think it is a bit crazy different in 96c, because Puget systems launched tests with Deadline(render manager), and it is might delay with their test, just my thoughts . but if that is true scores with new 96c, I think it is jaw drop!

@L1Sean Amazing! Results so sweet! is this setup with RTX 6000 Q 300w or RTX 6000 600w version? buuuut CPU looks so strong to me, and I/O almost twice, with better FPS, what a monster!
it is everything on SS-XE-360 AIO, and what is RAM ?

Also quick question are You have in Your arsenal 9965wx as well?
Just considering for 2 PC build, and good to see if it is could benched as well.

Graphs are still being worked on, took a tad longer than expected. But we do have those 9970x results which I can go ahead and post for you here. I’ll be sure to share the graphs as well once they’re done but they’ll just be a cleaner way to look at the information already present here.

EDIT: Also what is SSDs been used? just looking around other SSDs in Spreadsheets, and did some average(also saw same CPU have very very different results), and I think Write and Read speeds really is depends what is SSD is. I don`t know if You have much time, or possibilities You think it is possible make a test with intel optane p5801x or intel optane p5800x SSds, just wondering if it make aaaaaany sense in this nuke test, or like option ASUS Hyper M.2 Card with raid ssds, but yeah it is up to You (I know I know I am so many ask haha, but thank You and Wendell soooo much for all test what is been done, and very surprised with results).

just got as ref 9950x just for SSD results (and unfortunately it is no info about ssd in tests)


but it is clearly see same CPU(I think it is variations in Overclocked or cooling in compare and different GPU and SSDs )

The SSD used for testing was the Crucial T700 1TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD.

Interesting notes on the possible performance changes dependent on SSD. @wendell what are your thoughts on if SSD affects the results of the test? Is it something we should look into? Also I’ll let Wendell decide if we wish to publish the results within the spreadsheet.

But yes we have a video coming soon with a whole bunch of vfx tests!

Heya @L1Sean, Brilliant! do You think @wendell give us lovely Optane for couple tests? :grin::grin::grin: I found out it is would be very very interesting to take a look, as I understand inside Nuke this is test really close to 1 and 4k blocks speed, it is only mine thoughts, maybe I am not right but it is looks like.

and maybe HyperX with 4 ssds Gen5 raid good for test on 1k and 4k blocks?
