Homelab OKD or OCP Build

Hi,

This is my bill of materials for a home lab server build
Plan is to run Proxmox Hypervisor and OKD lab.
Please can some one have a look.

[BOM]

1	CPU | AMD EPYC 7352 24 Core 155W Server Processor	| 1
2	Motherboard | SUPERMICRO MBD-H12DSi-N6 Extended ATX Server Motherboard Socket SP3 | 1
3	Memory | Micron 32GB (1x32GB), PC4-25600 (3200MHz) ECC Reg DDR4 Server DRAM X4 | 4
4	Storage | Crucial P3 Plus 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD | 1
5	Storage | Seagate BarraCuda 4TB 3.5in SATA HDD | 1
6	Cooler CPU	| Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 CPU Cooler | 1
7	Case | Fractal Design Torrent Solid E-ATX Mid-Tower Case | 1
8	Power | Corsair RM1000e 1000W Power Supply | 1

[Cost]
This is a 24 core cpu build with a price tag of around USD 2500. Wanting a bit more head room on the CPU front.

[Concern]
My main concern is that budget is a bit too high.
I am not sure if I should downgrade to a consumer grade 16 core Intel i9 or 16 core AMD Ryzen build.
