Home vs. Ultimate. Is there a difference?

I've been using windows 7 Home edition for quite some time. Just wondering should I get the ultimate version? I play a lot of planetside 2 and BF3. Is it faster? Please someone get back to me on this. Thanks guys :D.

Corsair Gaming Series PSU 700w

not unless you have more than 16g of ram. I suggest upgrading the cpu to a vishera such as the 4300 or 6300

Protip: Most people here would just go for Home Premium. Ultimate may have all the features but that is if you got extensive knowledge dealing with the Windows OS. Home Premium has the features that most mainstream users would want, whilst not focusing on an enterprise-like environment, hence, the name.

To answer you question; no, choosing between HP and Ultimate has got nothing to do with performance. It's what you want in an OS.

I was also gonna do Destroyed007's explanation, but oh well

haha, but you will beat me to the other ones one day :P

LOL

the only difference is features I have posted link if you likey to ultimates addional features then get overwise stick I am you using 32i bit install, if you have decent ammount of ram then installing the 64  bit edition might help you get more from your pc.
