I have been eying that same board for weeks .! Its 194 at Newegg. I just built my first NAS (Freenas) thanks to these vids and I have a SupermicroX10SAE because everyone at freenas raves about supermicro server boards. I have been fighting it all week but today I fainally got it fixed up and running 5-wd red 2tbs with 16gb of 1633EEC and an I3-1260v3 . Its a lot of learning for me because I am only a year or so into all this computer building and I dont know dos or coding. But I am learning. :) I have been trying to figure out If Mythbuntu can run on my windows z97 pro asus with my windows and how hard it is to set up a dual boot since that is linux based I believe? I just got 2 rasberry pis and have rasbmc on one,and I just got a hauppage HDPVR2 gaming edition plus to capture because I cant seem to find a better pci capture card option. I dont have cable or dish but a giant antenna array in my attic for local HD and of course Netflix and hulu and the web. Any help would be appreciated

You could use Debian (Linux) and run all those services in one OS or run them in KVM (VM) or in Linux containers.
