HitFilm 4 Express on Wine: Ideas?

This may not be possible, but maybe we can get some people who really know what they're doing with Wine and PlayOnLinux and see where we can get.

For those that don't know, you can get HitFilm 4 Express for free just by signing up with them. It runs on Windows and OSX, and its pretty full featured for being totally free.

I reached out to the HitFilm team about Linux support, but was basically told "we'd love to but ain't nobody got time for that." So maybe we can get it working in PlayOnLinux? I got it to install, but it gives an error regarding Qt when I try to start it.

Any ideas? I'm open to suggestions, this may not work but I thought it'd be worth asking because if we can get it working we solve a huge problem.

Have you installed QT in wine?

No...I don't know how. Can you link me to a tutorial?

What error does it give you?

This is with Wine set on Windows 7. I'm not exactly sure what this message means...lol

Can you win it from the command line and get that output. It usualy gives better error messages from the wine back end.
