Does anyone know who makes the best USB only kvm? I have a weird setup and the L1T kvms arent enough. I need video separate from keyboard and mouse.
I can probably just sell you a KVm without the video board cheap if you want?
Wow, yeah that would be great. I actually need a video one too. Do you have that available now?
Yeah all the models are in stock pretty much what are you looking for?
1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Single Monitor - Four Computer < for video
1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Single Monitor - Four Computer (without video board) < for usb
Also mounting brackets for under a desk. (I think.) I will look more tomorrow and decide how I’ll mount them
This is what I’ve used. It is CKLau Seamless USB 3.0 Sharing Switch. I’ve had no problem with it on with it on MacOS, Linux (Sorry I’m a Debian guy so that is all I use), or Windows 10. I originally went down this route because I couldn’t find high resolution, high frequency KVMs that worked really well. Thus, I decided to just switch my monitor directly and use a usb KVM for my mouse and keyboard. I’ve also used it with USB keys with no problem. Hope this is helpful. Wendell’s device might be an option as well. I understand he has spend a stupid amount of time working through issues.
