High Definition Audio Device controller issues

host OS: Arch Linux

Hi,

I’m running Windows on a virtual machine.
Ever since updating to 1903 I’ve been having issues with audio.

Whenever I try to run an application that plays sound, it becomes very slow.

For example,
you can see individual frames when playing a youtube video.
Games stop responding when trying to play sound.

This only happens when playing sound that is controlled by the driver: “High Definition Audio Device”

Playing sound through Bluetooth doesn’t cause these issues.

When I try to turn on/off Enhancements, the window stops responding and all playback devices are removed (until reboot).

Passing through the audio controller doesn’t solve the issue.

Do you have any suggestions?
