Hi I'm looking into finally building a PC. I've created a build, through PC part picker. I was wondering if I could get feedback on it and was wondering how well this rig could play games.

looks fine to me, if you could afford a locked i5 like the 4460 + a cheap H97 board, then i would personaly recommend that over the i3.
Also you made your post in the wrong topic, so i moved it, and created a new topic for you.
I would agree with @MisteryAngel an i5 and a H97 would be an amazing bump for this system. If you are going to stick with a Dual Core you could get a G3258 (~$50) and a H97 Board and then later up it to a i5 if you want to get it going now and then have room to upgrade later.
I personally would also recommend at least a quad core since some games are now locking out dual cores from even launching there game,
and i would get two 4GB sticks of ram unless you are planing on getting another 8GB one later on.
and i would spend a bit more on the power supply and not get a CX series. on reading these forms several people have said not to buy this version from corsair, I have no personal experience with the CX as i don't buy corsair power supplies i have XFX ones. just keep in mind a cheap power-supply if dies fries the whole system.
I'd also say to try and grab a quad core. LinusTechTips stuck a video up about it a day or two ago.
