So im building my first machine, ive so far got a 8350 in there but i am deciding on my graphics card.

I'm confused, what universe do you live in where a 7870 is cheaper than a 7850? If you can get a sapphire 7870 for a similar price, go for that instead.

those are on sale rignt now on newegg for signifivantly less

would this asus 7870 be nicer ? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121649&Tpk=7870&IsVirtualParent=1

generally, when it comes to GPU's, larger numbers in the name=better

You can fit a 7970 in that budget.

Yeah, or if you like the industral look, you could go with a Corsair C70 or a Rosewill Blackhawk.

What about MSI?

You can probably find some 1600 Ram instead of 1333 that might even be cheaper depending on the brand.

Just trying to give you some alternative ideas. I don't want to force you from what you want. It just seems the money for the case could go into making your machine ridiculously amazing.
