Help!

So I got this system from my brother and its preaty old. The only problem is nothing shows up on the display. I press the power button and the fan spins and the light on the front turns on, but nothing shows up on the display.

Check the wiring, both internal and external, and make sure all the components are seated properly. Sometimes it can take some force to get some of the plugs in properly. Then check again. Then check a third time. Then a fourth. You see where I'm going with this? If you've inspected the wiring for hours and still come up empty, then check to see if you've got a defective stick of RAM by trying to boot the PC on only one stick of RAM at a time, trying all the sticks, as well as all the slots. If all this fails, you have a major hardware defect, if you have a spare GPU that can run off your machine's power supply, pop that in and try to boot. If you still get nothing, it's most likely the mobo, CPU, or PSU, in which case, if the PC is old, you might as well give up and disassemble it for spare parts.

I tried all of those things and it still didnt work. But thanks for the ideas!

does it have a seperate graphics card or is there a seperate visual output. try all monitor connectors that may help
