I dont know about the case :I but everything else to me is good http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Lawkodi/saved/1uOb The only reason i went for that cooler is the h100i doesnt fit that well in this case. It can get in the way of heatspreaders Etc.
any help?
Is there a reason for you to go for a 1000W psu ?
Yes, i plan on upgrading in the future. Like more ram another GPU ETC.
okay clear, but why doesnt fit the radiator of the H100 well in that full tower case? i cant get that right..
i've Heard that the it interferes with heatspreaders and other stuff because the mobo sits high or something.
you maybe right on that i just watched a movie about the case, and there is not enough space for it. but what about the Corsair H80i, and install the radiator to the back of the case? the place where the exhaust fan is normaly..
True true. But doesnt the Xigmatek preform the same as the h100. So it would do better than the H80
The Dark Knight doens't perform the same or better than a Corsair h100, but it will tie up with most of the 120mm or 140mm closed water loop cooling solutions.
I believe the PSU is an overkill, I'm not sure but I think the M5a99fx pro r2.0 is only 2 way crossfirex/SLI capable, so unless you gor for three or four way multi GPU you will never need a PSU above 850 watts.
In the video that logan made the temps were about the same as the h100. Also i want the 1000W for it because of more ram, a 2nd GPU and POSSIBLE future upgrades made water cooling Idk.
The temps on Idle are all the same on a decent cooler. A corsair H100 will show its glow when you full load the crap outta that CPU.
The Psu you picked is an amazing beast and will work for over the years while staying godly, however with dual 7970s, a high OC on the PSU, 6 case fans, 4 HDDs, Led lights, a Watercooling Pump and the fans on all the rads you won't need a PSU over 850w.
Ya, But the full load temps he showed were like a 2 degree difference, Some were better on the Dark Knight. Also I mean i would use the PSU in all future builds maybe a Gianormous awesome one thats Why i want it. I know i could do with a 850W but still...
no it doesnt fit well indead so better go for the Dark night, as you say youre self i dont know how good an H80i is, but the H100 wil probably much better.
that 7970 is a good card, also very good 7970 cards are the Sapphire models. or HiS models.
sapphire models are well known about theire realy good cooling solutions on theire gpu´s
with 2 overclocked 7970s and a OC'ed 8350 all you'll need is platinum 850 PSU, what's your budget and what are you using it for?
Budget is 2K And im using for Some video editing, Mainly gaming, School stuff, And 3d stuff.
I'll get on it after I finish up this huge Retro gaming thread
http://teksyndicate.com/forum/retro-gaming/old-games-tips/137949
I was able to squeze in 2 7970s since you said you wanted to upgrade to 2
don't forget to log in and apply all the promo codes
$2,024.29 after shipping and promo and combo codes
you may want to substitute those 7970s for 680s depending on which software you use, I would check what kind of hardware acceleration your software supports
The reason i didn't go for the 3770K (I wanted to) Was because intel is killing LGA1155 But keeping LGA2011 so i wanted to go with AMD instead.
for 2K you "CAN" go 2011, you gpu might be skimped though
and that is a very VERY bad reason to go amd instead of intel for rendering, nothing against AMD but rendering just isn't their thing
