The other day (6/18/14) my girlfriend's granddad gave me a computer of his. After I found out one of his computer friends put $1500 into it, I decided to crack it open to see what was inside. Well, I have no idea what I am looking at. I know it is made for gaming but I have no clue how good it is. I know it has 16 GB of RAM and a Radeon HD 5770 (I think). Other than that I have no idea what I am looking at. I also do not know how old it is. When it was built, etc. If anyone could let me know what I have or give me an idea it would be appreciated very much. If you need more information on the PC just let me know and I'll try to provide as much as possible. Thank you so much.
down load CPU-Z. this will id all the hardware you have so you know what you need to upgrade

Dowload CPU-Z. assuming all the parts were modern at the time of the build, looks like it could be as old as late 2009, as that is when the graphics card was released.
