Help with MBR

I had to reset cmos. Have a ssd with windows on it in pc and a 4bay external hdd connected at all times which turns on with the pc. Ever since I reset cmos my pc it seems to try to boot an old Linux grub I had at one time on one of the 4bay hdd´s. It will not just read the ssd first. Boot order is correct in bios. Can anyone help me with this please

You need to set the SSD as the boot drive in the BIOS/UEFI

I did as I stated but I guess it did not save for some reason. Thanks for making me check it again. Was about to be upset but you saved me. Thanks again and for being so fast to respond.

ps. i am not a fan of the uefi bios. want the old school back
