Hello everyone,

I need help with glass project that Im doing

If I take non transparent glass, and spray paint it, wait for it to dry, then shine an LED light at it, will it glow?

Well, you're covering a transparent material with an opaque material, then trying to shine a light through the opaque material...

Depends how thick it is and what kind of paint.

you need to use a transparent paint if you want it to sine through, like the kinda paint hobbyist use on the the lights of say model cars and airplanes.

 

acrylic works better if you want something to 'glow'

Yeah, I would use a colored acrylic. And put the LEDs on the sides of the panel, pointing toward the middle.

Use very fine grit sandpaper to give it a "Frosted" look.
