Hey i'm looking to build a new pc within the next few months. (more towards december because i get a hefty christmas bonus hehehe)

I'm looking to build something that wont need to be upgraded for a while. and capable of running a 1440p monitor (just ordered the xstar). Im ok with AMD and Intel both since ive used both in the past. My budget will be around $1500-1600 and really want to get the best bang for my buck. any help is greatly appreciated.

kind of a rough outline but the 770 and i5 are a good place to start

This will do great for 1440p. A Radeon 7990 with 8 free games.
