Help with gaming build

I'm buliding my first first pc and was hoping to get some suggestions on what I picked out. I'm going to be using it mostly for gaming and plan on overclocking. I'm not dead set on any of these choices, so I am completely open to suggestions. My budget is $1200 max.

This is better for a gaming build.

The CM TPC 812 is a better cooler, at least in Intel builds.

16GB is massive overkill for gaming. Most games just need 4GB. So 8GB will let it be cheap, while still being future-proof.

A 7970 is better than a 7870, 660 Ti, 670, and is almost as fast as the more expensive 680. OC this card and you`ll match( and sometimes beat) a 680. If you want a different brand, make sure it`s not one with a reference design( or just one fan) as these cards run hot.

The Corsair 300R is a great case, but I particularly picked this case because I know it can fit large cards without the need to remove anything.

850W is a bit overkill, but it fits in the budget plus gives you future upgrade options. You can even do a 7970 CrossFire config.

That`s about it. This WILL run any game maxed out at 1080p. Probably even beyond that.

Okay thanks for the suggestions.
