I think you should drop the ssd if you are low on monney. an ssd only helps speed up whats on it and not game performance. It would save $75 ( if your in the us) if you just got a hdd. your OS and whatever games you have on it would be faster but In game (after the initial load) performance is the same. if OS speed is worth $75 to you go for it but I advise you to stay away from it. I also think you should try to stick all AMD ( not out of fanboyism) because the parts work together for better performance.
Only do this if the cards (or MOBO if your looking at an AMD chipset) have the same specs and are in the same price range.
I haven done too much research but this card looks good also look at the games the card comes with. you can try to sell thoes for some $ back. I will link the card I compared it too as well because its the card I assumed you had http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130843
having an ssd for games will do nothing for fps. you should use the money you would put into 2 ssd's and buy one larger ssd like the http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=70080&vpn=ASX900S3-256GM-C&manufacture=AData%20Technology
also unless you need CUDA the 7900 series GPU's form amd will get you $155 in free games. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
here is a sample build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t7gw
i used a lager cass amd the fx 8230 instead of the fx 8350. they are the same cpu just clocked a little lower http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/308/AMD_FX-Series_FX-8320_vs_AMD_FX-Series_FX-8350.html
I'd say look for another motherboard...I have had bad experiences with asrock :/
you can also get a cheaper psu, say a 650 or 750. and drop the ssd you were gonna use for your games. if you keep writing files to that disk, you'll kill the disk faster. get a WD black or something like that.
An SSD is great for fast loading of your OS but not necessary in a build. You might want to look at this Asus motherboard as it has a reputation of being rock solid. Logan just did a video on it so there is plenty of information about this board. This is the Newegg Canadian link to the board and the price difference is only 10 bucks. It comes with a 5 year warranty as well.
The other thing you can look at is the FX6300 processor as this is usually more than enough for any of today’s games. Again, this is the Canadian Newegg price.
Again, like others have already said, you can lower the PSU to a 750W which will allow you some expansion later but just insure it is at the very least 80+bronze certified.
I saw a video from Linus where he proved that there is no performance advantage in buying a Nvidia card with an Intel CPU or an Amd card with an Amd CPU. I'll still look into a 7970 though :)
I dropped the game storage SSD and just went with one Kingston HyperX 120GB instead, that way i can get a fast boot time and store some of my games there as well.
I'm also changing the PSU and the motherboard, and i'm checking out the fx-6300 atm :)
his build will us almost 500w at load so a 800w-1000w psu would be a good match for his build. it will also give him headroom to upgrade or add a second gpu (if he gets a better mb)
That looks good, i tweaked it a little bit http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tkTQ. The problem is that i live in Norway and it's super expensive. I used a currency calculator and this build costs 1855$ here.
So if there are anything you think i should add or change please tell me, but keep it around that price range :)
Also i bought that case and that RAM because they look good, which is important expecially on the case, so i think i'll stick with those parts.
