Help with choosing GPU

Hey, I'm new to PCs

I'm buying a pre built PC mainly for 3D Modelling and A lot of After effects animation and motion graphics.

I was told Kingston 32gb RAM is good but should I go with 1866mhz or 2400mhz?

What is the difference?

Thanks

Basically, 2400mhz is faster than 1866mhz, so if money is of no concern, then get the 2400mhz ones.

Cheers mate, appreciated!

If you are going to do 3D and video editing you should go with the 2400mhz but if you are gaming got with the one with the lower CAS if the 1866mhz has a CAS 9 and the 2400mhz has a CAS 10/11  go with the 1866 but if the 2400mhz has the lower CAS get it.

If you need help picking a GPU check the program that you are using for your work to see if they use CUDA or OpenGL. If CUDA go for a Nvidia card and if OpenGL get an AMD card

you mean OpenCL

OpenGL is a completely seperate thing and is supported by both

What is CAS? and what does it do?

Nope no gaming what so ever just 3D stuff and after effects. After effects has Nvidia gtx670 on the tech specs so I will be getting that. I don't have money to get anything better.
