Help with ASUS Hyper m.2 Hyper Gen 4 Card on Lubuntu OS with QYFQ cpu

Hey folks,

I’m having some trouble figuring out how to get RAID set up(first time for me)

CPU: Intel Xeon Platinum 8468V ES2 QYFQ 48C/96T 97.5MB Sapphire Rapids

Motherboard: ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE

BIOS version: 0215 (older version bcs that’s how I got everything to boot proper)

OS: Lubuntu

I’ve got the Hyper Card installed with 4 990 pro SSDs in the first PCIE lane closest to to the CPU. In the BIOS the Onboard Device Config has PCIE Bifurcation Mode enabled for that lane. (I do have a GPU on the third lane.)

If I run fdisk -l I can see the 4 addition SSDs.

I assume I have to mount them? But how to set up as RAID?

any help or direction would be useful. Thank you guys so much.

this is sincerely helpful lol. at first I was like damn rude. But then I started reading this raid.wiki(which I did not know existed) and this is actually perfect. thank you, sincerely. I can’t believe this google search was not my first thought.
