Help with a Niri based feature-rich, efficient desktop environment.

Firstly:
This is my first Interaction with this forum, or indeed this kind of a place in general, so I am rather unsure where or how to ask my qestion / start a discussion.
If this is misplaced in form or location, pls be sure to tell me or otherwise resolve the issue.

Another slight Prefix:
I have been on KDE for quite some time and whilst I enjoy the plug-and-play feeling,
now that I own a Laptop I am somewhat concerned about resource usage.
I also happen to love Rust, for quite a few reasons that would probably go beyond the scope of this post,
and so I would love to have as much of my software stack to be Oxidised. :3
Also I love working with the keyboard primarely when on my Laptop,
so an environment would be preferred to support that preference of mine.

Onto the main course:
Niri is, form what I have garnered from my little playing around with it, quite the nice compositor.
It is written in Rust and Wayland-based.
I am currently however searching for tools that build around Niri to create to a fully fledged environment.

Mainly, I’ve been looking for some tool that allows for simple, keyboard based control over wireless connections. (Bluetooth and WiFi)

Also I’ve tried and failed to run niri through a VM, apparently ‘cause some kind of hardware-gou-passthrough did not work and I was sadly unable to fix it, help would be appreciated.

Lastly:
I am sadly not quite as knowledgeable as I should probably be given my strong opinions,
so forgive me if I might disappoint with lack of “common knowledge”.
