Help with a Chinese OPNsense Box

Hey IDK if this is the correct sub category, but I got one of these N100 Chinese OPNsense Boxes with 4 2.5Gbit Ethernet ports.

I bought it bare bone and added a 1 TB Crucial P5 Plus and one 32 GB of Crucial DDR5-4800 CL40 SO-DIMM Module (CT32G48C40S5) and I can’t get it to post. I tried all the video outs it has, the only indicator I’m seeing is a Green “light” LED, and a red DISK LED light up when this thing boots. See pic:

Does anybody have experience with these. I don’t really have the Material to test other ram modules, but the one I have should be in spec, at least clock and total amount wise (though I’m unsure if the N100 supports 32 GB in one Module)

This is my thought as well. I think the lower end CPUs will have a hard time controlling a higher end RAM.

I think @regulareel has the right idea. What CPU does this box have? I do not think it supports 32GB at all. I have one just like it with a Celeron processor and it does not support more than 8GB of memory.

Intel officially only supports 16Gbyte memory size (and likely modules)

I did not realize N100 is model name, but yes, that processor probably won’t ever be running more then 16GB of memory.

ah shit I misread the ark entry … thanks!
