[Help] Upgrading a Computato

Greetings Community!!

Me and my brother have been using is beloved computer for quite some time now. I just wanted to ask if there's a slight possibility to upgrade this potato.

Mobo: ECS P4M800PRO-M2

CPU: Pentium 4 3.0GHz

RAM: 2pcs DDR2 1GB RAM

Video Card: GeForce 5500 FX 512MB

If so, what parts can I get to somehow enchance the performance of this potato? Don't worry guys, we are not planning to play BF 3 in max settings with this computato :)

EDIT**

Would a HIS HD 4670 IceQ Native HDMI 1GB (128 bit) DDR3 AGP be a good choice?

Dude, I'm sorry to say this, but its not worth upgrading. The proformance boost you would get is not very much, and would cost you money. You also can't really upgrade anything with any degree of ease.

You would be better off just saving up for a (relatively) cheep gaming rig.

^^^^^^

that

ddr2 is really expensive. that rig is just too old. it might play tf2 acceptably, but not much more

You have a point there man, I guess we really should let go. :(

rip out all hardware, put in new internals, done

I think they'd be better off selling it as an old PC, ie. HTPC or router or something. I know I am looking for some, but at a very cheap price.

if it has a sata HDD keep that, but you could build a A10-5800K gaming rig for around $300

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/v3Ud go am3+ mb so you can bios update and through an fx cpu in it and a better gpu later down the line. i built it thinking the HD was sata
