So, my father has a HP Photosmart 2700 series printer that after a quick power outage got stuck in a boot loop. The little screen just shows the normal bootup HP logo with progress bar-like thing, then goes blank for a second and brings said screen back up. I’ve tried the usual unplug things, hold power button, and a couple hold x buttons solutions I had read about people doing for completely different (hp)printers as I can’t seem to find anyone with the same problem with this printer on the net.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas/solutions. Personally I think it’s about time for an upgrade since it’s old enough it doesn’t support anything but WEP for wireless…but I think he’d rather keep it going on bloody stubs for legs than buy a new one. Granted we also just stocked up on some refilled ink which it would be nice to get the chance to use.
