Hello guys.
I have a build with 2x CPU server supermicro x11ddw-nt mobo
And I can’t run any of the GPU’s on it. The PCI-E slot is special here, but from my research, with the adapter it should start to work as a simple PCI-E slot, and then I can use a GPU
But I tried to use a Supermicro 2x PCI-ex16 Riser card RSC-R1UW-2E16 adapter with a riser. It’s recognized in bios. All settings to auto.
Also I use the 10 cm pci-e 3.0 riser, because technically can’t insert the card directly into the adapter
I use a simple Radeon 7470h graphic card, and when I plug it into this riser card, the PC starts and loads up to “ikvm doesn’t support add-on vga device. please change the d-sub” info and stuck there".
I switched in bios settings: Advanced → PCIe/PCI/PnP Configuration → VGA Priority from Offboard to **Onboard and it successfully boots, but I don’t get video from the GPU card. Fans are spinning, and video from onboard VGA is present, but no video from GPU, connected via DVD-d cable.
Where should I continue digging?
