I see some resistance in Germany, but they want to use it as a bargaining chip for some sort of privacy agreement with questionable ability of enforcement.
Most other countries seem to ignore it.
Regarding the lost profit compensation clause:
An EU functionary gave an unofficial statement that national laws could not be negated by legal action from international corporations, No EU state could be legally compelled to pay compensation for lost profits due to legislation. He further stated that the compensation-clause in the TPP has not generated any kind of response because it would not hold up in court. Any attempt at enforcing this would either result in being ignored or in nullification trough the justice system. He said it was an empty promise, that nobody was planing to honor.
I talked to an acquaintance who is majoring in economics and he said: "We can wipe out corporations any time we want. States can implement and enforce laws, lock banking accounts & nationalize local properties of corporations. States can do that because because they have military & corporations don't. We'll keep corporations around until they outlived their usefulness"
I don't know what to make of this, but it seems to me better save then sorry, so stopping the TPP seems to be the way to go.
