I apologize if this is in the wrong section of the forum, but this seemed to be the most fitting. So, my problem is an extremely strange problem that started occurring after I got a new headset, the Razer Kraken 7.1. What happens is the audio for Windows Sounds and Spotify sound perfectly normal, however, sounds played through a game or through my browser are barely audible. I have to turn up the volume all the way to 100 to even be able to hear what is going on, and even then the audio is barely audible and staticy. I have tried downloading the audio drivers for the motherboard
I have tried adjusting the volume in Windows Volume Mixer
I have tried using other browsers to see if the sound works on those browsers, and oddly, they are perfectly working.
I have NOT tried playing a different game other than the one I tested, which was Warframe.
At this point, I'm out of ideas to troubleshoot this problem.
