Help please

Hello everyone, I am from Mongolia. First sorry my English is not so good. I just need help.

I Built 2990wx, 64GB ram, RTX 3070 and 1Tb m2 SSD PC. OS is Windows 10 pro i have a important question. When i use this machine to render on adobe media encoder and working on NukeX (VFX compositing software) cpu usage was very low about 10-50%. Max peak was 60%. I tried Coreprio but no change. But my Cofigurattion is 2990wx running with 2 x 32GB ram. So do I have to have 4 separate rams? Other words should i have to have even 4 x 32GB for max performance?

How i can use max performance of this CPU? is there any service to help with my configuration.

I spent week for configuring this pc and searching this issue for online. Then i saw this website and this video:

i think my issue is about NUMA. Searched and read lot of topics. But can’t get working solution.

I am vfx artist. I need help very quickly, because of my project deadline almost here. is there a any service to help with me?

Unfortunately i´m personally not really able to help you with your particular question.
But maybe @wendell might be able to shine some light on this.

It depends on the software. Ideally 4x32gb yes.

In the video I used linux to lie about the numa topology to windows and ran rendering programs… in uma mode it ran better than numa.

Indicating windows is dumb.

But you may not be able to do that. Right now you have only one of 4 cpu dies with direct access to memory. At best you can get two of four. So you might try moving one dimm do another slot. Are they on the same, or opposite, sides of the cpu?

Did you follow the manual wrt what it said for dimm placement?
