Help..overthinking of getting a new pc

I'm having a problem..im really confused because im going to get a new pc.

But the problem is i don't really know what to get exactly for the best gaming performance.

I don't really want the best of the best ..but at least a system that can handle most of the new games that are coming out these days. :mellow:  (im mostly going to play Battlefield 3 )"FOR NOW"

I have a budget of $1000 maybe a little bit more. :rolleyes:

But please list me specs of a gaming computer. B)

Maybe a little less or a little more.

CPU= i5 3570K

RAM=8GB

GRAPHICS CARD= Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 2gb superclocked/AMD Radeon 7770/7790

For cooling..its AIR cooling.

Case=Antec GX700

..and more ..thanks for HELP!  :)

or

if you get a AMD Phenom II 965BE you can get a 7870 for under $1000.

thats including the OS, A disk drive (Gags), A 256 gig samsung 840 SSD and A terrabyte for storing your games and data. its $991 before shipping.

parts list- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1duZY

you can pair that down to $811 if you have a sata CD drive and don't want an SSD. though I'm a big advocate of storing your game data and OS on seperate drives. a second Terrabyte drive will run you $59.99 to $69, bringing your total to $872. leaving you $128 for peripherals, shipping, and games.

this is essentially the rig I use now, with the exception that I have high end cooling, 16 gigs of ram, and 3TB total storage. it will play any of last years AAA games at 60FPS, and quite a few of this years. before I got my second card working, I was playing Crysis 3 at frame rates above 60.

Im going to Stick with Intel cpus for now.

This is slightly under budget with out the rebates and has what you want and will perform like a beast its similar to my computer and I get like 90 fps in bf3 on ultra noAA @1080p

i like this rig..but the problem is the price..

it changes because im on a different country.

im in israel..and im pretty sure this rig is more pricy in here.

Sticking with Intel is not necessarily a good idea... You pay way more than for AMD, and the performance difference isn't that big. At least for gaming. Better put the money in the video card.

look on my profile. I built my comp for around ~$1050.  it satisfies everything that i can think of (I dont have afetish for maxing games)

my initial build was $850, it maxed all the games I owned. she's a $1050 machine now, and she murders everything I ask her to.
